I visit la manga club every year in june, this year it was amazing. Bellaluz square was buzzing and vibrant. Our apartment overlooked the square and we could soak up the atmosphere.. One night there was flamenco dancing and another an amazing male singer. The restaurants were busy and the varied food amazing. There was a veterans tennis tournament that week and the tennis centre had a lovely exciting feel to it. The courts were as spectacular as ever and the eating places were amazing. Listening to the waves whilst savouring the delicious, fresh fish at la cala on the beach was a memory I'll never forget.
This was my 2nd visit to La Manga, and it was great to come back. Our villa was exactly as described, fully equipped, with a spotless kitchen. We even had a boom box which was used every day on the terrace to listen to local radio. The views from the property are stunning and the weather was glorious every day. We had the use of 2 pools, and mostly to ourselves, with one of them in full sunshine right through the day. The pool areas were clean, and the pools were lovely. My only negative comments would be the ants, which were mainly in the bedrooms. Not withstanding that, I would and have recommended the resort to friends & colleagues and will be returning
We had a lovely relaxing week at Bellaluz. The apartment was accurately described and in a lovely, convenient location just near the Bellaluz Square but not at all noisy, the patio garden was perfect to sit in at any time of day. It was nice to stay somewhere that is clearly loved by its owners and has lots of their personal touches. As everything ran smoothly (Key pick up, cleanliness of apartment) we had no reason to get in touch with the onsite management company as our holiday passed without a hitch. I would highly recommend this apartment to someone else. The restaurants on the Complex were lovely, and we did drive the short distance to Cabo de Plaos and enjoyed the restaurants there too. La Manga has an excellent range of activities for those who are sporty and those who aren't! I would highly recommend.
This year we decided to spend an extra week at La Manga Club. My daughter had just finished her degree at University, my youngest son finished his first year at college and my wife was desperate to have a real break from her job as an art lecturer so privacy, security, terrific weather in a safe high quality location was key to our successful vacation. La Manga ticks all of the boxes. The villa was wonderful. prepared properly and ready for us to enjoy. The management were typically helpful but not intrusive. We know they realise it's our holiday and they will ensure we are happy. As usual the facilities at La Manga were discreet but available. The restaraunts were all excellent with a special note for Luigi's which was superb in every respect. We enjoyed our privacy but visited Mayor Plaza in Bellaluz on many occasions. El bistro is managed very well and the team there made us all very welcome. My wife and daughter really enjoyed the Spa and felt the experience to be very special..just right for a holiday away from the stresses of the last year. I am not a golfer but if I ever managed to live at La Manga I think I would enjoy the obvious quality of the golf courses. La Manga is safe. The security teams were re-assuring but not obvious. Outstanding. We spent twenty one days enjoying Spain with La Manga and would really recommend the location to anyone who wants a high quality holiday without worry and stress. Terrific..we will be back. Thank you to all of the staff and management.
When you see the site you are given the impression that everything is part of one big complex as per the web site, but it's not. So what you see on the web site is totally different resorts with different facilities, but the standard are good. Things were not as expected collected keys then on to the complex. Accomodation was very good, in gated community with a pool locally for each comunial area. In the main resort central area it was limited, but the standard of facitlites available were good, but only a few bars and resteraunts so it was a common occurance waiting for a table. Food was also a good standard, but as expected more costly due to the captured audience. We did eat at the off site restaurants which were good and seated larger numbers, so these was some variety of site chinese, indian etc, which you needed a car to get too. Over all it was away from any main area where you could expolore with out driving, but the on site standard was very good, but limited because if busy could not cope with the volume in the main central area of 4 or 5 places to eat without walking around the complex to find other facilities which closed earlier than the main area.
My family consists of 2 adults & 2 children aged 5 & 6yrs, & we have just spent a week in the resort of La Manga Club. Although we enjoy holidaying with our immediate family this is definitely a resort to be enjoyed in a groups as there are so many activity options to be enjoyed.
The Property we rented was exactly as described, from the directions, to key pick up instructions, & property description. We had a villa with shared pool facilities, which was never overcrowded, even being the school holidays.
The location of the villa (Los Naranjos) within the resort was perfect, having 2 younger children we were centrally based with all facilities we required, supermarket, our pools, additional pool at the tennis centre, perfect for a change of scenery, numerous bars & family restaurants, within a few hundred metres. We wouldn't hesitate on recommending the villa & resort to all our friends & family.
It was the perfect resort for us to introduce our children to new activities as well as have plenty of time to enjoy the pools & relax. We think it would be even more action packed as the children get older & can participate even more.
There are only two reasons I have given a a 4/5 rating & that would be that the resort is very commercialised with no element feeling very Spanish, maybe this is just the nature of La Manga Club & I do realise that you come here for an alternative holiday experience, but we did hire a car to travel around the La Manga area to balance this aspect. The second reason is that we felt that there were no clear signs/instructions regarding using/booking etc of the club facilities. We did find out ourselves but this could be easily rectified by simple signs around the complex.
Overall the shear beauty of La Manga Club is breath taking to be enjoyed by all, even the none golf fanatics amongst us. My only regret is that 1 week wasn't long enough!
Excellent facilities, my daughter did tennis and loved it. weather was wonderful. You need a car even to move around the club and use most facilities shops in the club expensive the superstore is the best place to buy. Visit to caratagena is a must. Property was well stocked and very comfortable. Indoor pool in our complex was not the best.
We stayed in the Rancho 3 bed, and invited our children (grown up) and their partners, all had a great time, restaurants and facilities were excellent, local shops supplied all you needed and the family still keep asking when we will repeat this event.
when i first drove up to la manga club i was impressed from the start we got the keys from the agent to the villa and on opening the door found it to be to the 5 star standard you become to expect from la manga club as we have stayed there for our main holidays for the past nine years we have recommended several people to la manga and all have had a great time there, the level of the sports facilities is second to none, and the bars and restaurants are all first class with great atmosphere, can`t wait to go back there.
Our holiday over 2 weeks alowed us to explore the whole complex and wider area of Murcia. Resort was clean and well maintained with excellent restuarants and entertainment in the Bellaluz complex square.
