We only discovered Las Palmitas last year as its a small community of villas, about 12 in all.
They are very spacious inside and the quality of the interiors is very high which marble floors and bathrooms.
We liked the fact that there are so few villas and the pool is a great size for the amount of potential holidaymakers.
We were very close to the Bellaluz square which has a supermarket and lots of nice places to eat and drink. The supermarket delivers too so if when you first arrive you do a big shop then they will happily bring it to the villa for you. Staying in Las Palmitas means that you can still walk everywhere within La Manga Club. I would recommend you have a look if you fancy a change from your usual choice of accommodation.
We are back to reality now after spending a great fortnight in La Manga Club. The kids really enjoyed all the activities especially the football academy which they talked me into booking for them for both of the weeks we were there. The courses are not particularly cheap but they are so well organised and professionally run so I was happy to let them join in for both weeks.
We have stayed in several of the different apartment blocks at La Manga but this time chose Las Palmeras which is just behind the Hacienda villas. They are in a good spot in the Club so the boys could walk off to the football pitches on their own. We had a two bedroom two bathroom Las Palmeras apartment with a nice terrace. They are only two storeys high and we had a nice top floor apartment on the front row. The pool area was very well kept, clean and tidy.
Spent a lovely evening in the La Finca restaurant celebrating my birthday, thank you everyone there for a great meal.
See you again next year!
Hi am over half way thru fantastic week with two now fanatical tennis players at La Manga staying Las Palmitas villa and looking to stay another week.
