Having stayed in the Monte Claro townhouses before I knew that the location would suit us well and a villa with private pool located in the same road would be a nice change and treat for us all.
The villa was well equipped with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a downstairs loo and was spacious in all the living areas. I particularly liked the private garden and pool area and our contact on site was really helpful when we arrived, making sure we were fully acquainted with the villa and surrounding area. Of course we knew our way around but it was good to know she was there to help if we needed it. Lounging around our own pool was definitely worth the extra cost.
We spent several evenings in our favourite restaurant which has been there for many years, Casa Victors. During the summer months they hold a really good outdoor BBQ and their pasta dishes are great. It is a family run place and you always get a warm welcome and you are sure to find something you like on the menu.
We did discover this year that there is a Go Karting track not more than five minutes drive from La Manga Club, it is not Formula 1 but it is a lot of fun. It is on the way to Cabo de Palos which is a really nice traditional Spanish fishing village and also worth a visit to the Sunday market held there each week. The Miramar restaurant aslo in Cabo de Palos is worth a visit for some local Spanish cuisines and excellent fish dishes on the menu.
Great holiday had by all and I am sure we will back again next year.

We chose an apartment in Bellaluz because we wanted to be in a central area of La Manga Club with lots of restaurants and a supermarket and shops nearby. We did not want to hire a car and managed to get a taxi from the airport so we had a drive free week in the sun.
Our 3 bedroom apartment had 2 bathrooms which with 6 of us I wanted as a must. We were quite close to the main square which suited my 3 teenagers. I would mention that if you have young children you may be better staying a little way away from the main square as it can get a little noisy late into the evenings.
We ate out quite a bit and like the relaxed atmosphere of Casa Victors restaurant. Its been there for years apparently and offers a good mix of food, with something to suit the fussy teenagers.
We love this villa and have stayed here 3 times now and really look forward to coming back every year, feels like our second home. Our annual holiday is about chilling out by the pool, playing a bit of tennis and have some good food in different restaurants. The kids are well looked after with a whole range of things to keep them occupied on La Manga Club. The villa is very well maintained and stylishly decorated and is very well equipped which makes it feel like a home from home. It is a great location.
We love the outside dining area and make good use of the BBQ. We have tried most of the local restaurants which have become a little pricey due to the rate of exchange, hopefully this will change in the future. We do enjoy La Finca restaurant and Casa Victors both of which are walkable.
We feel that La Manga Club is a little oasis with excellent sports and leisure facilities, The golf courses at La Manga are second to none and it to great to relax in the sun with so much to do on your doorstep.
