A great traditional place to dine is Maribel Restaurant not far from La Manga Club and slightly tucked away but it is well worth a visit, Maribel Restaurant is an established family business that has been around for many years and is very popular with the La Manga Club regulars for dinner.
The airy and spacious, large indoor dining area has a wall of windows with a magnificent view and would be perfect for large groups and functions. If you are in a small group or a couple, the beautiful, large outdoor terrace is perfect with great views of the resort and the Mar Menor. Its also great for families with small children as there are mini football pitches in the vast gardens below, so you can enjoy your meal and know your children are safe.
Maribels traditional menu has a choice of flavoursome Spanish food, such as garlic prawns, roast leg of lamb and pepper fillet steak. A favourite with the La Manga Club guests is the Dorarda a la Sal, which is fish baked in salt, as the waiters prepare the dish at the table which creates a nice atmosphere and a pleasant dining experience. They also have a reasonable list of local wines and offer their own house wine to compliment your meal. It is all remarkably well priced for great sized portions of lovely authentic food.
Maribel Restaurant is a family run, local business with very well trained, friendly staff. It is an overall great dining experience if you are looking for traditional Spanish cuisine restaurant that is tucked away from the main strip and the popular La Manga Club and has been highly recommended by La Manga Holidays guests. Its not too hard to get to, when coming from the Mar Menor, follow the road leading toward the La Manga Club past the turning to the hotel, there will be a right turn and the Maribel Restaurant can be seen from there.
