Si! Wine bar and café is quite a cool place to hang out, particularly if you like sport with your drinks, and meal or nibbles. A highly flexible spot to choose at La Manga Club, Si! Wine bar and café appeals to everyone from Granddad right through to junior. Owned by an English couple, Peter and Sylvia Ingham, the whole Si! concept has been developed to be the perfect family spot. In fact, this whole family notion is reinforced in the Si! kitchen and front of house, where Peter and Sylvia’s kids Andrew and Chelsea are heavily involved in the running of the business. Having lived in this area for some time, Peter and Sylvia an ideal source of information when it comes to asking about things to do and places to go.

Currently boasting 8 wide screen, surround sound televisions, admittedly, it’s not the place to go if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic evening a deux but is perfect for a big match or a sporting event not to be missed. In fact, if it’s sport that floats your boat (which its highly likely to be if you’ve chosen La Manga in the first place!) then you’re quite likely to enjoy the golf simulator, snooker and pool facilities that are all on offer at Si! at the time of writing.

One of the best things about Si! at La Manga Club is that no matter how different everyone’s needs and wants are, from a food and drink point of view, they’re likely to get something to suit. A relatively new addition to the La Manga strip’s extensive bar and restaurant options, Si! is a funky and modern spot, where, no matter the time of day, you can choose from an extensive snack, meals and drinks menu, all at great prices. With food served until 11pm most days (correct at the time of writing), you can even come here after a long day out or a long day at the beach, in the knowledge that you’ll be able to eat and have a drink.

Featuring Sunday roasts, full English breakfasts, fish and chips as well as roast beef, there is little doubt that the whole Si! concept has been conceived with the British tourist in mind. That said, there’s a whole host of internationally flavoured starters, mains, salads and pizzas to choose from too, as well as a kids menu.

From time to time, you’ll find that Si! offers family entertainment. No matter whether it’s kids entertainers or sing-along tribute bands, you’re likely to have a whole lot of fun together here. Add to this, the fact that Si! is only a stones throw from the main resort centre, and you begin to see why so many people flock here, day after day. So, if you’re a family on holiday at La Manga Club and you fancy something just a bit different, where everyone can choose what they want and maybe even watch a bit of sport, it’s definitely time to head off to Si!

If you have eaten in the Si Bar or any of the restaurants on La Manga Club, why not share your experience with other visitors to La Manga. All reviews submitted will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a holiday for 4 at La Manga Club staying in a luxury 2 bedroom Los Olivos apartment.
