Under the direction of Lorenzo Martínez, the Director of Tennis and Leisure, the highly qualified multilingual coaching team offers a comprehensive, personalised and professional service for individuals, teams and clubs. This is one of the largest coaching teams in Europe with over 20 teaching professionals employed throughout the year.

Fraser Wright, Director of Coaching

  • Born: London
  • Date of birth: 4th July 1973
  • Joined La Manga Club: 1997
  • Coached: Has coached extensively throughout the globe, including Germany, Hong Kong, South Africa, Portugal and UK. Has developed and run the La Manga Club Tennis Academies since 1997.
  • Played: Played national tennis in the UK, German league tennis and German satellite tournaments.

Miguel Dios, Teaching Professional

  • Born: Stockholm
  • Date of birth: 3rd May 1972
  • Joined La Manga Club: 1998
  • Coached: Has coached in Florida and around the region in Murcia, Alicante and Elche. Highly qualified in the Spanish National Tennis Federation as 'Entrenador de Tenis'.
  • Played: Played Spanish satellite tournaments and winner of regional tournaments.

Angel Luis Saura Qualified member of the Spanish PGA

  • Born: Cartagena
  • Date of birth: 27th December 1970
  • Joined La Manga Club: 1998
  • Coached: Has coached since 1990 in and around the region in Cartagena and San Javier. Qualified through the Spanish National Tennis Federation.
  • Played: Played in the Murcian regional squad and winner of regional tournaments.

Angel Luis Saura Qualified member of the Spanish PGA

  • Born: Marbella
  • Date of birth: 21st November 1978
  • Joined La Manga Club: 2000
  • Coached: Has coached in Murcia with the Spanish Tennis Federation in Murcia after leaving the playing circuit.
  • Played: Reaching an ATP world singles ranking of 520. Played and trained at Luis Bruguera's camp in Barcelona for six years. Winner of Futures circuit events in Turkey and Croatia.

During the summer, the resident pros are joined by fully qualified coaches from across Europe, which means that the pro-to-student ratio is always one coach to six students or better.
