La Manga Club has its own private beach cove known as La Cala. It is a secluded and very private Mediterranean beach cove which has a super fish restaurant, also called La Cala, which is open seasonally, usually May until late September. The stunning backdrop of the cliffs makes for a stunning setting for a romantic dinner. It is not accessible on foot as being set in the Murcian hills the roads are very steep and mountainous so access if highly recommended by car. There is transport available to the beach if you make a dinner or lunch reservation otherwise you will need to use your own car.

The area surrounding La Manga Club is of particular natural beauty and with Calblanque national park a 10 minute drive away you should try and visit to enjoy the local area making sure you are armed with a picnic.

The area known as The Strip is La Manga del Mar Menor is a long strip of road which benefits from having the calm warm waters of the Mediterranean on one side and the Atlantic on the other. The strip has many beautiful places to stop and it is a perfect place for children to paddle in the shallow waters and they will get good use of their buckets and spades. With plenty of cafes and restaurants you can enjoy a fun day out on the beach within a 10 minute drive from La Manga Club.

There are approximately 7 local beaches close to La Manga Club, all of which are very popular with our clients as well as the locals and some operate water sports from their shores.
