Los Olivos is our most popular community at La Manga Club and have many special promotions throughout the year. The 1, 2 and 3 bedroom luxury apartments sleep up to 6 people and enjoy stunning views and include exclusive access to two outdoor pools and a heated indoor pool.
All apartments enjoy very large sunbathing and dining terraces with BBQ and patio and outside dining furniture. The Los Olivos apartments are built into the hillside at La Manga Club and all face the same direction and enjoy great views over the tennis centre and the South Golf Course at La Manga Club.
The Los Olivos community at La Manga Club is centrally located close to the La Manga tennis centre and Childrens mini club and are within about five minutes walk to about five or six of La Manga Clubs 25 restaurants. The apartments are also within a few minutes walk to the two supermarkets on La Manga Club. Los Olivos is also an ideal location for those people who do not wish to hire a car and like to be in within easy walking distance of various sporting and leisure facilities at La Manga Club.
La Manga Tennis Centre is host to such prestigious events as the Davis Cup and Federation Cup matches, and the official winter training base for the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). The LTA say that La Manga Club is the premier sports and leisure resort in Europe.
The 10 Hour Academy - Monday to Friday.
One of the most popular activity choices at La Manga Club is the 10 hour Tennis Academy. It operates Monday to Friday and is aimed at all players regardless of their skill. The courses aim is to improve all main parts of any players game via two hour sessions each day. This fully comprehensive academy operates all year round and benefits from certified Tennis coaches.
Suitable for players of all levels, this comprehensive five day programme runs in the weekday mornings 9:00am to 11:00am, Monday to Friday every week. The course consists of teaching the basic fundamentals for beginners and to allow the more experienced to fine-tune their technique. Beforehand, players are graded and put into groups of equal experience. Each morning throughout the week, on court coaching will be given for Forehand, Backhand, Serve, Volley, Service return, Singles and doubles tactics, Smash, Approach shots, Lobs, Drop shots, Topspin / slice and Match play.
The Weekend Warrior Academy – Friday to Sunday.
If you are after a shorter Academy course then the Adult Weekend Warrior course could be the right one for you. The course will allow you improve you tennis skills in a shorter period of time and is ideal if you visit to La Manga Club only covers a long weekend.
Included within the weekend warrior course is the following: 6 hours of professional tennis coaching and 4 hours of match play organised by the tennis coach against other players of similar ability. If required or desired, all participants receive a 10 percent discount for individual coaching. Further to that, all who partake in the adult weekend warrior course or other adult tennis academy courses will receive complimentary access to the tennis gym, sauna and jacuzzi.
Private Lessons and Court Hire
Located in the heart of the La Manga Club resort, there are 28 courts in a choice of clay, AstroTurf or hard surfaces. The La Manga Tennis Academy offers the latest V1 digital coaching technology and first-class tuition for all ages, as well as a tennis shop, equipment hire services, racquet service centre, fitness centre, beauty treatments, sauna and jacuzzi. You can also arrange private tennis lessons and court hire on an ad hoc basis.
Competitions and Social Tennis - Afternoons
The Club tennis afternoon run from 17.00 to 19.00 Monday to Friday and gives
players of all levels the chance to play and compete in a friendly
environment. The mixed format rotates and is held on the clay courts. In
addition the afternoon tournaments are available to all. The tournament formats differ each afternoon to
keep things new and fresh. After an afternoon of playing tennis everyone is
welcomed to the Tie Break Café for some relaxation. |
