We have been to Los Olivos before but not had the experience of a penthouse apartment. So for a change we decided to book one as I really wanted some sunshine and had been told that with the second rear terrace we would have sun all day long.
That was absolutely true and as I intended to spend most of my time on a sun lounger it was a real bonus. Apart from venturing to the indoor pool and my favourite restaurants I did not leave my terrace. It was good to see some new places to eat at La Manga Club and some in the nearby village, Los Belones.
It was a great short break and we just enjoyed the luxury of our Los Olivos apartment, blue skies and good food, can not really ask for more. - read more
Many thanks for taking the time to send a review of your recent stay.
It seems that your managed to chill and relax, just what we all need from a holiday.
We hope that you will choose Los Olivos again if you choose to return. A warm welcome awaits.
I really love the very typical rustic style of villas that you can find at La Manga Club and I prefer Los Altos over the others available as they are in such a good spot within La Manga Club and they have some of the best views. Alto means high in Spanish and so being high up you can not beat the fabulous views you get from the terraces.
The pretty white wash walls, elevated position and good design make them cool for those very hot months. Of course they are air conditioned too but very often I prefer to go without as I find it a little noisy. I have just booked to return later in the year and am really looking forward to returning to Los Altos for my holiday at La Manga Club. - read more
Thank you for sending your review, very much appreciated.
Los Altos villas are in a great location, very central and having the use of several pools means a change of scene if you so wish.
Look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future.
Thank you for arranging a great break for us recently.
We very much liked Los Molinos and the layout of the villas in the pretty gardens. The pool area was empty because it was a bit too chilly to swim but the beautiful blue skies and warm days made up for that.
We went mainly to play a few rounds of golf, dust off the cobwebs and to escape the poor weather at home.
We would recommend Los Molinos villas to everyone and for those with a young family as the pool must be a great place for the children to socialise in the summer months. - read more
Los Molinos villas are a good choice for families especially as the pool has a poolside snack bar which sells cold drinks, ice-creams and lite bites throughout the summer months.
Good size villas set in pretty gardens around the one large communal pool and ones kiddies pool. Always popular with our guests.
We hope to welcome you back to La Manga Club soon.
We only discovered Las Palmitas last year as its a small community of villas, about 12 in all.
They are very spacious inside and the quality of the interiors is very high which marble floors and bathrooms.
We liked the fact that there are so few villas and the pool is a great size for the amount of potential holidaymakers.
We were very close to the Bellaluz square which has a supermarket and lots of nice places to eat and drink. The supermarket delivers too so if when you first arrive you do a big shop then they will happily bring it to the villa for you. Staying in Las Palmitas means that you can still walk everywhere within La Manga Club. I would recommend you have a look if you fancy a change from your usual choice of accommodation. - read more
Las Palmitas is one of the lesser known communities at La Manga Club but there is no doubt the high quality of the villas means our clients return again and again.
Thank you for sending your comments and hopefully some people will opt for a change. They would not be disappointed.
We hope you will return to La Manga Club again in the near future.
I took my son and myself off to La Manga Club for a weeks break over the half term and had to write to say what a great time we had and how well everything was arranged.
We stayed in the Los Olivos apartments which look over the tennis courts at La Manga Club and we booked into the tennis academy for both of us. What a great experience the academy was with great coaching and what turned out to be a lot of fun. We then played with people we met for a few games in the afternoon. Court hire is not cheap but between four players it works out ok.
The location of our apartment was perfect as we could get to the tennis within minutes and walk everywhere we needed to get to. For us there would have been no point in hiring a car as it would have just sat outside the apartment for a week. Airport transfers were definitely the way to go.
We will go back for another tennis break sometime in the school holidays as I do not think there is anywhere better than this.

Thank you for this review, your feedback is always appreciated.
We look forward to welcoming you back in the coming months. Remember always prebook the academies as they are very popular in the school breaks.
We always head into Los Belones for a few meals when we are staying at La Manga Club. Really pleased to see several new places open since our last visit.
Thought we would try Pablo Guardiolas, it is where the bodega used to be and so we popped in for a coffee in the morning to have a sneaky look at the menu which is typically Spanish. They have made it very attractive inside and we decided to book for 8 pm.
It was a Wednesday evening in January and it was good to see quite a few tables occupied. We had salad and soup to start followed by lamb and sea bass. All was very good indeed. My sea bass came with spinach but a few potatoes with it would have been good. The wine list is good and all reasonably priced. We decided to pass on the desserts but would certainly return.

Thank you very much for your review.
Lets hope it is successful going forward, it is always good to see something new open.
With several other new restaurants opening in Los Belones there is now a good selection to choose from.
We really liked La Colina apartments last year as there are only about 12 or so and therefore it seemed nice and quiet even though we were there in July.
The pool is lovely and more than adequate for the amount of guests staying in La Colina. We had a duplex apartment which was very spacious and set out over two floors. Just bear in mind that one of the bedrooms could be on a different level from the others if you have small children. Property had all you could want in terms of equipment and the small utility area was useful.
We liked being in a central spot within La Manga Club but not in a large development and we could get the children to all of their activities within a few minutes walk. Looking forward to returning this year and planning a half term trip. - read more
Thank you for your review, it is very much appreciated.
La Colina can be found just behind Los Olivos so it is literally 5 minutes walk from the tennis centre, childrens club, shops, cafes and the Oasis communal pool.
Please remember to prebook any activities the children may want to participate in as half terms always get very busy.
We were very pleased with our villa in Los Naranjos at La Manga Club.
There are not that many villas so the two large pools are sufficient for everyone. The big bonus for us was that one of the pools is heated so we could use it during our February break.
Los Naranjos villas are also in the middle of La Manga Club so we could allow the children some freedom and we could go out at night to eat and not worry about driving. Lovely spacious villa and the design and layout of the villas both inside and outside work really well.
They are a great choice especially if you are planning to go to La Manga Club out of the main summer period so you make good use of the heated pool.

Thank you for your review.
The heated pool is indeed a real bonus and makes Los Naranjos an all year round choice. It is not heated in the summer months as it is not needed and not advisable in extreme temperatures.
A great location within La Manga Club too make the Los Naranjos villas very popular.
When we decided on hiring a villa with its own private swimming pool we realised that options are limited if there are only the two of you and you do not have a large budget but we then discovered the Las Higueras villas at La Manga Club. They are a great choice if you would like your privacy and as they sleep four people they are very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The villa has a small private garden and the location is excellent as you can walk everywhere. The lounge area overlooks the pool and with a well equipped kitchen it felt very much like home.
We had a great time playing golf on all three of the fantastic courses and were delighted to see how well maintained they are. We did not pre-book tee times as we were happy to make up a four ball where there was a slot. We hired clubs from the clubhouse and although quite expensive it made life easier than transporting them from home and paying the airline costs.
Came back wanting to return again in the not too distance future.

Thank you very much for your review.
We find that Las Higueras is popular with our clients as the pools, which are not huge, are perfect for the size of the bungalow style properties and with a small private garden it all adds up to a great stay.
There are various outlets offering golf club hire so please ask next time and we can let you know all options available.
We stayed in Bellaluz in the summer and definitely enjoyed the buzz of the Bellaluz village square which has several restaurants, cafes and a bar which shows all the popular sporting events. Our apartment overlooked the square and we were not bothered at all by any noise as we were also out late into the evenings. I would say that if you have young children it is probably best to opt for an apartment off of the square. There are many small blocks which surround it so plenty of choice.
Our apartment was very comfortable and air conditioned and we had 2 bathrooms which was a plus as there were 6 of us. The supermarket was just on our doorstep and we could sit outside on our terrace watching the world go by. I was very happy to let the children have a little freedom around the village once they became familiar with their surroundings.
Bellaluz has a great swimming pool which has a poolside bar during the summer months. We have explored all of La Manga Club but are very happy with Bellaluz having rebooked Bellaluz again for this summer. We look forward to returning and are counting the days.

The Bellaluz community is always popular with our clients and represents great value for money at La Manga Club.
The layout and facilities are super for families in the summer months and Bellaluz apartments represent excellent accommodation all year round and especially in conjunction with a tennis break.
The poolside bar is popular and with some great eateries within Bellaluz square you are never too far from a drink and bite to eat.
Thank you for your comments, always gratefully received.
