We just spent a great Easter week at La Manga Club at our usual favourite, Los Olivos. We have used the indoor pool during other visits but it was a real bonus this trip.
The weather was a little disappointing with low temperatures for the time of year and rain from time to time. We were fine though because we could take the children up to the indoor pool for a few hours.
Without this they would have been upset they couldn't swim so Los Olivos proved to the best choice yet again. - read more
Many thanks for your review and what a pity the weather let us all down this Easter.
Things are definitely on the up now with temperatures you would expect to see at this time of year.
We have tried the new sushi bar in Los Belones and had a really enjoyable evening.
We often venture off of La Manga Club just for a change of scene and like to try anything that has opened in Los Belones since our last visit. We did try to eat there one evening but when we arrived it was closed so do check their opening days and times.
We thought we would try and get there again and were pleased we did. The food was very good indeed and reasonably priced so we are glad we persevered and would certainly return again. - read more
Thank you for taking the time to send us a review of something new as all feedback is very welcome.
We always make a trip to Via Romana in Los Belones when we stay at La Manga Club. The fresh pasta and pizza is fantastic and the specials board always has something to tempt us.
On our last trip I noticed several people around me enjoying a piece of tenderloin and when our friends who live local in Cartagena joined us they also ordered it recommending it as the best steak they had ever had. What could we do but try it and it did not disappoint.
My husband who is more of a steak lover than me said it was delicious probably only second to steak he had on a cruise ship once a while ago. So if you think Via Romana can only come up trumps with your Italian favourites think again and give the tenderloin a try. - read more
Many thanks for the tip off although I am not sure I can resist one of the delicious pasta dishes.

"Great Sunday lunch by the water in Cabo de Palos"
Whenever we visit La Manga Club we always head off to the Sunday market at Cabo de Palos and then after for a Sunday lunch along the harbour.
It is always warm and sunny and there is nothing nicer than sitting outside waiting for our Paella mixta to appear. Our last visit was to the Miramar restaurant which is on the corner of the harbour and has been established since the 1970's. Cabo de Palos harbour was buzzing as there was a local sailing event taking place involving the local children.
Our food was excellent as usual with delicious garlic prawns to start followed by our paella. The staff at the Miramar are very attentive and we could not fault the service. Please give it a try when you are next at La Manga Club, a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. - read more

We like nothing better than eating in the Cabo harbour on a Sunday afternoon and when you see everywhere so busy with the locals you know you have made the right choice for a memorable lunch.
It was a pleasure to return to Casa Lee in Los Belones, the long established Chinese restaurant.
It was along time since we had first visited and then discovered it has moved to the new Pyramid building as you enter Los Belones itself, opposite where the Bodega used to be.
We usually go to The Run but thought we should revisit Casa Lee for a change. The food was excellent, very fresh and tasty and the staff very welcoming and attentive. We would certainly visit again when we are next at La Manga Club and wish them well in their new home.
The Pyramid square is now full once again with restaurants, great to see them all occupied again. - read more
Many thanks for your review and lets hope the move proves to be a good one for the owners.
We have been to Los Olivos before but not had the experience of a penthouse apartment. So for a change we decided to book one as I really wanted some sunshine and had been told that with the second rear terrace we would have sun all day long.
That was absolutely true and as I intended to spend most of my time on a sun lounger it was a real bonus. Apart from venturing to the indoor pool and my favourite restaurants I did not leave my terrace. It was good to see some new places to eat at La Manga Club and some in the nearby village, Los Belones.
It was a great short break and we just enjoyed the luxury of our Los Olivos apartment, blue skies and good food, can not really ask for more. - read more
Many thanks for taking the time to send a review of your recent stay.
It seems that your managed to chill and relax, just what we all need from a holiday.
We hope that you will choose Los Olivos again if you choose to return. A warm welcome awaits.
I really love the very typical rustic style of villas that you can find at La Manga Club and I prefer Los Altos over the others available as they are in such a good spot within La Manga Club and they have some of the best views. Alto means high in Spanish and so being high up you can not beat the fabulous views you get from the terraces.
The pretty white wash walls, elevated position and good design make them cool for those very hot months. Of course they are air conditioned too but very often I prefer to go without as I find it a little noisy. I have just booked to return later in the year and am really looking forward to returning to Los Altos for my holiday at La Manga Club. - read more

Los Altos villas are in a great location, very central and having the use of several pools means a change of scene if you so wish.
Look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future.
Thank you for arranging a great break for us recently.
We very much liked Los Molinos and the layout of the villas in the pretty gardens. The pool area was empty because it was a bit too chilly to swim but the beautiful blue skies and warm days made up for that.
We went mainly to play a few rounds of golf, dust off the cobwebs and to escape the poor weather at home.
We would recommend Los Molinos villas to everyone and for those with a young family as the pool must be a great place for the children to socialise in the summer months. - read more
Los Molinos villas are a good choice for families especially as the pool has a poolside snack bar which sells cold drinks, ice-creams and lite bites throughout the summer months.
Good size villas set in pretty gardens around the one large communal pool and ones kiddies pool. Always popular with our guests.
We hope to welcome you back to La Manga Club soon.
We only discovered Las Palmitas last year as its a small community of villas, about 12 in all.
They are very spacious inside and the quality of the interiors is very high which marble floors and bathrooms.
We liked the fact that there are so few villas and the pool is a great size for the amount of potential holidaymakers.
We were very close to the Bellaluz square which has a supermarket and lots of nice places to eat and drink. The supermarket delivers too so if when you first arrive you do a big shop then they will happily bring it to the villa for you. Staying in Las Palmitas means that you can still walk everywhere within La Manga Club. I would recommend you have a look if you fancy a change from your usual choice of accommodation. - read more
Las Palmitas is one of the lesser known communities at La Manga Club but there is no doubt the high quality of the villas means our clients return again and again.
Thank you for sending your comments and hopefully some people will opt for a change. They would not be disappointed.
We hope you will return to La Manga Club again in the near future.
